I served in the US Army from Dec 1967 to Nov 1969. I served in Vietnam with E Co, 52nd Inf and H Co, 75th Rangers. I left the Army as a Sgt E-5. I also served in the US Navy from Apr 1975 to Apr 1993. I was an Acoustic Sensor Operator (hunting submarines) onboard the P3-C Orion aircraft. I retired from the Navy as a Chief Petty Officer E-7. After the Navy, I worked in the tech industry for the next 15 years. My wife and I are both fully retired now. I've been riding motorcycles since 1965. I currently ride an 06 Harley Electra Glide Classic. I've been a member of CVMA 18-3 since Sep 2014
I entered the Air Force in 2000 as a Command Post Operations Controller. I first deployed shortly after 9/11 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. I separated in 2006 as a Staff Sergeant and after 2 years as a civilian I went back into the military, this time to the Army where I served in Bravo Company, 2/1 Infantry, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team at Fort Lewis, WA. I deployed again, this time to Afghanistan from 2009 – 2010. In 2012 I separated from the Army as a Sergeant and settled down in East Tennessee. I have been a member of CVMA 18-3 since 2018.
I was born in Amarillo, TX and raised in Venice, California. I served in the U. S. Navy from 1965-1970 (2 yrs active & 3 yrs reserve). Vietnam Veteran 1966-1967, Brown Water Navy (River Patrol Force TF-116).
